Sheena fell in love with hair styling at a young age. By the time she was 19 she knew it was the career for her.  She knows that a good haircut and styling is incredibly impactful and she loves having the expertise and power to make someone feel beautiful and confident. “Hair is my passion. I’ve had lots of training and experience over the years and probably the most important thing I’ve learned is that there are endless options for great hair. You can express yourself with different colors and styles every season.  Everyone’s hair should not look the same!”
Being a stylist and a “curly girl” herself, Sheena faced a few issues styling. She was especially challenged by her desire to bring extra volume to the front of her and her clients’ hair. That’s what led her to conceive of the Lift-a-Curl clip, something that she knew would help everyone that faced the same “hair raising” problem.  But simply creating the clip from her original idea turned into a years-long effort into development, manufacturing and research.

Says Sheena: “Many of my clients and friends don’t understand why it took so long to bring the clip to market. Well, I didn’t have a big R&D facility! It was just me, trying to run my own business and design on the side – a little at a time was all I could do. When I finally received my patent and eventually finished the manufacturing all on my own I realized now it’s time to help everyone get their ‘perfect look.’  Now I have the newest and easiest way to help you enhance your style.”
